Why Obi-Wan Darth Vader Kanobi to kill him?
I love Star Wars. One aspect of Episode IV is confusing me and my sister is that Obi-Wan ends to enable kill Darth Vader. Why did it? It was definitely not an accident. What was your motivation?
I always thought, since was young, that Obi-Wan did it on purpose to motivate and Lucas. if you see, look briefly at Obi-Wan to Luke and Vader, as they are struggling, and he smiles. Always I take this as a way of stimulating Obi-Wan Luke to devote himself to the force and defeat Vader, knowing that Lucas became enraged after seeing Vader cut it. Only my opinion, however.
