What complete picture mean in photography?
I just bought a Canon 7D and I was having a discussion that is not frame complete compared to some other cameras, and I just do not understand what it really means full frame? can someone explain this to me please, and there a significant difference between the full frame cameras like the Nikon D700 and Canon 7D in terms of the Full Frame-ity? I hope you are taking note of the thumbs down in the first two answers. They are totally wrong, but at least said they were first answer riddles. I do not like the term "full frame". Only means that the sensor size is the same size as a 35mm film frame. If you could see the size of a medium format sensor, full of "framework" term applied to typical digital SLR is a joke. The full "frame" lenses will allow cameras to function as designed, although, of course, are now lenses made to work only with cropped sensor cameras. Problem with that is, if you later get a framework of "full" camera, the lenses are worthless. In addition, the larger sensor in the "full" frame cameras allow more photosites (pixel size) that normally results in better quality and less noise at high ISO. steve
