Bertoldi art is fascinating and beautiful since his subject, the sky and clouds, is equally fascinating and beautiful. Alberto says: "I was flying on a plane, and as broke through the clouds, I experienced an incredible moment. While I was looking for the window, the plane seemed to hang between the sea and infinity, between sky and earth. With extreme emotion which saw three thousand years ago humans could only imagine.
When I reached my destination, I dared to look at the horizon again, now from the small beach of San Vicente, and I realized for the first time the clouds powerful, without movement or speed, to act as curtains. I watched this curtain of clouds hid the infinite universe and its sound. "
Alberto Bertoldi Born in Turin in 1955. She began painting at an early age and also a brief period in the Brera Academy of Art, is largely considered a self-taught artist. Alberto held its first exhibition at the age of 18 when, shortly after stopping the painting of a long period of time. Upon reaching age 33, Alberto returned to work in complete isolation, with hard work and studying various subjects. Now, so different from his previous subjects, looked to the ancient artists of northern Europe that were closer to their propensity to landscape painting and, in general, the aesthetics of the sublime.
