If a woman Wonder movie?

With all the DC and Marvel Comics superhero films have been made, why has not shown Wonder Woman in a film big-budget action yet? If Hollywood made a film of Wonder Woman, who would you pick to play Wonder Woman? Lynda C. remains quite, but a little long in the tooth. How about Denise Richards? She is a plump, pretty brunette? Too short?

I'm more indifferent to the idea of a Wonder Woman film. It has potential, but could easily end up being another fantastic "Four", where the need benefit from having the characters of a film passed the trend that has revived the superhero genre, solid character development. That's what Spidey is so good, the X-Men, Batman and the newest is that they are more than costumes and effects. That's the same reason I do not think Denise Richards would be a good Wonder Woman. She's pretty, but in essence, I feel it would be just another effect. His performance is not necessarily bad, but I do not think she really is materiall actress, especially with a character as iconic. I think Jennifer Connelly (Labyrinth, Dark Water, Requiem for a Dream, A Beautiful Mind) would be an excellent Diana, or perhaps Rachel Wiesz of the films of the mummy. Sexy, but too sophisticated. It's a shame they could not keep for director Joss Whedon, but it was with Rachel Wiesz I might be able to kill two birds by having her boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky (Pi, the said Reqiuem for a Dream) direct.
