Art and photography?
Does it have to be really good at art, to be a successful photographer? (:
All others points are made and similar information, especially about it, according to the type of photography you are doing. To be a successful photographer actually reduces to be good with the rules of the type of photography you are doing. Rather, like to know about how light is used to show (or hide) the texture and shape of the model, the fundamentals of composition, etc, are used across the board in all types of photography. They are not used in the same way, however. Some types of photography do not need nothing more than knowing how to use the camera equipment to obtain the necessary image for use. Get the picture, and other dental photography, are examples. The composition is still very useful because a well composed shot presents its information better than a wrong shot. You can be absolutely horrible in art and still be a good photographer and successful in these areas. To be a successful photographer, as artistic elements are important image must be very good in art, but art is photography. I know more than a visual artist who is very, very good at what they do, but produce very poor photographic images. There are photographers and be "good art" does not seem to help.
